Central City Productions hosted the 32nd Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards on Saturday, March 25. Emanating for the third consecutive year from The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV, the “epic night in gospel music” was hosted by Stellar Awards winners Erica Campbell and Anthony Brown.

The evening kicked off with a high-powered medley of hits from Grammy Award winner Fred Hammond who would also be honored later that night with induction into the Stellar Honors Hall of Fame. Tamela Mann’s performance of her Stellar Winning single “God Provides” made a huge impact on the house, bringing comedian Jonathan Slocumb to tears, making hosting the in-house audience segments very difficult. In arguably the performance of the night, Jonathan McReynolds, Jonathan Butler, Travis Greene, and Israel Houghton joined forces armed with acoustic guitars and several of their trademark singles.

The evening also featured performances from Shirley Caesar, Jekalyn Carr, Kirk Franklin, Bizzle, Canton Jones, Da’ Truth, JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, VaShawn Mitchell, Tasha Cobbs, Doug Williams, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson, Da Chosen Brothaz, Donnie McClurkin, and the Chicago Mass Choir.
