TobyMac Announces BLOCKBUSTER Tour

tobysklllcra_websizeTobyMac, Skillet, and Lecrae, three of Christian music’s biggest voices, are joining forces to thrill crowds on an exclusive Summer Shed Tour. The tour will hit 7 U.S. cities beginning May 1, 2014.

TobyMac has been touring the country on his Hits Deep Tour since last fall. The national tour has been selling out venues and playing to packed houses including an emotional set at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The final show will take place on March 28 in Newburn, NC. TobyMac recently released the new video for his current No. 1 hit “Speak Life” from his 2012 release Eye On It. The GRAMMY award winning effort, Eye On It, was the first Christian album to debut atop the Billboard Top 200 chart in 15 years.

After spending last fall opening for Nickelback in Europe, Skillet kicked off the year co-headlining The Roadshow, a tour which featured Third Day, Andy Mineo, Jamie Grace, and many others. Skillet’s latest release Rise continues to impact the charts and earned the group a GMA Dove Award for Rock Song of the Year for their single “Sick Of It” in 2013. Their latest No. 1 rock single, “Not Gonna Die,” is steadily climbing the mainstream active rock chart, currently at No. 11 with a bullet.

Since the release of Lecrae’s GRAMMY® award winning album Gravity, both his mainstream and Christian audiences and platforms have continued to expand. Finishing up his tour with Rock the Bells this past fall, Lecrae released the second volume of his mixtape series, Church Clothes. Lecrae is currently co-headlining Winter Jam with the Newsboys.
