Thousand Foot Krutch Lands BIG With New Single

thousand-foot-krutch-pressKnown for its adrenaline-fueled anthems that consistently fire-up sports enthusiasts around the world, popular Christian rock band Thousand Foot Krutch‘s single “A Different Kind Of Dynamite” has been tapped as the official theme song for the Dec. 18 WWE “Roadblock: End of The Line” pay-per-view event. WWE programming is broadcast in more than 180 countries and 25 languages and reaches more than 650 million homes worldwide.

“A Different Kind Of Dynamite” is the latest single from TFK’s current album, EXHALE, which was released this past summer amidst wide acclaim on the band’s imprint TFK Music with marketing, sales and distribution through The Fuel Music.

This isn’t the first taste of mainstream exposure for the Ontario, Canada-bred group who celebrates their 20th Anniversary in 2017. With over 1.1 million albums sold, the group has provided the soundtrack for popular entities including ESPN, NASCAR, MLB, NHL, NCAA, WWE, and the NFL, including the 2010 Super Bowl. Their songs have also been featured in video games for EA Sports NHL 2010 and NHL 2013, tallying close to 30 Million monthly views in combined streams across all of YouTube.

“‘A Different Kind of Dynamite’ is a full out barn burner, pun intended,” explains TFK vocalist and songwriter Trevor McNevan. “It explodes with energy and is a roundhouse of action packed riffs and wordplay. You’ve heard it said that ‘actions speak louder than words.’ Instead of blunt force, the weapons of choice here are love against hate, and faith against fear. We fight with a different kind of dynamite.”

The first single from EXHALE was “Running With Giants” which became the group’s first music video since 2012. The project made a huge impact on the charts, topping the iTunes Rock Top Albums chart and peaking at #3 on the overall iTunes Top Albums Chart. The project also topped the Billboard’s Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart, #6 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart, and #17 on Billboard’s Top Albums Sales chart.

TFK and the album EXHALE are currently nominated for three GMA Canada Covenant Awards, including nods for “Artist of the Year”, “Album of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for the single “Running With Giants”. The 38th Annual Covenant Awards are the leading national awards for Canadian Christian Music and will take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Jan. 26, 2017.

Look for the WWE Roadblock: End of The Line to air on the WWE Network on Dec. 18, 2016. The album EXHALE is available now at all digital outlets.
