The AfterParty Recap: The Playmakers

The Playmakers Present Praydeci To The AfterParty!! (photo credit: Jason McCoy)

History was made on January 18, 2013 as Bonnerfide Radio brought its highly anticipated Anniversary Party to the Hard Rock Café in Nashville, TN. The event was completely sold out and a standing room only crowd packed the historic musical venue to celebrate three years of “Radio the Way It’s Supposed To Be”.

For the first time ever, The Anniversary Party welcomed a non-musical act to the stage (at least in theory…). 2012, YouTube became the canvas where the story of the comedic trio, The Playmakers, was painted. Kevin Fredericks, Jason Fredericks, and Anthony Davis took the urban comedic world by storm during the 2012 Stellar Award weekend with their video “Stuff Black Church Girls Say”. As the video became the talk of the faith-based community, the group would go on to rack up over 6.4 million YouTube hits over the year and become one of the first signees to the new inspirational YouTube network, Alright TV.

They brought their signature humor to The Anniversary Party, bringing their hit comedic singing group Praydeci to life! Needless to say, this would go down as the funniest segment of The AfterParty and indeed, the Hard Rock Café would NEVER be the same!!

Check out the hilarious presentation from The Playmakers, as part of The AfterParty!
