Rapper Derek Minor Blasts Off With New Music

Dove Award winning rapper and Reflection Music Group owner Derek Minor continues to fill the marketplace with new music. This time, he releases the new single titled “Astronaut”.

Premiering the new track on the popular hip-hop website Rapzilla.com, Minor uses astronaut as a metaphor to describe his determination to excel despite hurdles.

“I been feeling like they been trying to hold me down … But everytime I fall I never touch the ground / I keep blasting off like a astronaut.”

The single features appearances from Byron Juane and Reflection Music Group artist Deraj.

This marks the third single released by the Nashville native as he released remixes to the popular single “Change The World” in April. Last month, he dropped the single “Fresh Prince”. Inspired by the 1990’s hit sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, the self-produced track offers clever wordplay and celebrates the blessings of being the son of the King.

Both “Fresh Prince” and “Astronaut” are available now at all digital outlets.
