Live Nation Presents The Worship Tour: We Are Here

the-worship-tour-promoLive Nation continues their ongoing relationship with faith-based live tours. The company that delivered The Kings Men Tour (2012) and 20 Years In One Night Tour with Kirk Franklin (2015) present The Worship Tour: We Are Here. This tour features award winning artists Anthony Brown & group therAPy, Jonathan McReynolds, and Travis Greene. The gifted artists made the announcement on Facebook Live on Oct. 20.

The highly-anticipated tour presented by Live Nation, in partnership with The Sovereign Agency and Pop Nation Live, will kick off on February 21, 2017 in St. Louis, MO with 16 additional dates across the country including New York City, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, Los Angeles and more. The tour will conclude on March 23 during Stellar Awards week in Las Vegas, NV.

Anthony Brown & group therAPy are on the heels of one of the most successful years of any artist in Gospel music history. Earlier this year, the group won an unprecedented 10 Stellar Awards for their sophomore release Everyday Jesus, led by the chart-topping single “Worth”. The project just earned the group two Dove Awards during the recent 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards, where the group also performed a special presentation of their hit single.

Jonathan McReynolds has made incredible waves over the last four years with his unique acoustic and authentic approach to music. His releases Life Music and Life Music: Stage Two have produced hit singles such as “No Gray”, “Gotta Have You”, “Pressure”, and “The Way That You Love Me”, which just earned the Chicago native his first GMA Dove Award. McReynolds also performed at this year’s GMA Dove Awards and is a multi-time Stellar Award nominee.

Travis Greene‘s RCA Inspiration debut album The Hill launched him into the upper echelon of the Gospel music conversation as it produced the chart-topping anthem “Intentional” and the Top 10 hit “Made A Way”. Like McReynolds and Brown, his project The Hill debuted atop Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart, earning him Stellar and Dove Award nominations. The single “Made A Way” has now earned him a Soul Train Music Award nomination for “Best Gospel Song”. This year, he also launched Forward City Church, a church plant in Columbia, SC.

The tour will also partner with and support the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.┬áTickets for The Worship Tour: We Are Here are available for pre-sale on October 28 and are available at theworshiptour.com.
